A Lumpert Family Swiss Raclette: An Old World Tradition

Experience authentic Swiss raclette dining in the Blue Ridge Mountains with innkeepers Erica and Daniel. This intimate winter dinner features imported raclette cheese melted and served with traditional accompaniments. The meal includes a mixed salad, dessert, and a choice of wine, beer, tea, or soft drinks. Join our Swiss family as we share this special communal Alpine dining tradition.

What to Expect
On January 31st at 7:00 PM, our dining room transforms into a Swiss chalet experience. The evening begins with a fresh mixed salad featuring seasonal greens from local farms. Then comes the main event: imported Swiss raclette cheese, melted tableside and served with:
● Farm-fresh potatoes, roasted to perfection
● Crispy bacon from local smokehouses
● Caramelized pearl onions
● Authentic chipolatas (traditional veal sausages)
● Tangy cornichons for that perfect tangy balance
