Bluegrass Benefit Concert
Saturday, August 8, 2026 · 5 to 8 PM
Join us on the lawn for an evening of live bluegrass under the trees, in celebration of our third anniversary. There is catered barbecue, a place to settle in, and the sound of banjo and fiddle carrying across the fields as the evening light goes long. For guests staying with us, the evening is part of the weekend for a $50 donation: a farm breakfast to start the day, the Blue Ridge to explore, and music on the lawn to end it. If you have been waiting for a reason to book a summer weekend in the mountains, here is one.
This is a benefit concert for Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina, a nonprofit that preserves the region’s bluegrass and old-time music, with our band Carolina Bluegrass Style playing for the evening. It is a benefit with a donation ask, not a free show. Space on the lawn is limited to 50 guests and an RSVP is required. Guests staying with us can add it to their reservation, and anyone joining for the evening only can call the inn at (828) 318-2630. We’d love to have you!

About Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina
When we decided to make our anniversary a benefit evening, choosing who it would benefit was the easy part. Blue Ridge Music Trails of North Carolina preserves and celebrates the traditional music born in these mountains: old-time, bluegrass, blues, gospel, ballad singing, and traditional dance. Their guide points music lovers to venues across 29 Western North Carolina counties where this music is still played the way it has always been played, on stages, in music halls, and on front porches. They also keep the tradition moving forward, supporting emerging artists and Junior Appalachian Musicians programs that put fiddles and banjos in young hands.
The Music Trails are an initiative of the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area Partnership, a nonprofit that protects and shares the natural and cultural heritage of Western North Carolina for generations to come. Every dollar you give on August 8 helps carry that work, and this music, forward.
