Getting to downtown Asheville
Most guests travel via US-19 S / US-23 S, which merges into I-26, providing a direct route into the center of Asheville.
Things to do in Asheville
Downtown Asheville is known for its restaurants, breweries, art galleries, and historic architecture, along with landmarks such as Pack Square, the Grove Arcade, and the Basilica of Saint Lawrence.
Guests staying at the inn often visit Asheville for dining, live music, and exploring the city’s vibrant arts scene.
About 25 minutes. Leave after breakfast and it’s an easy morning drive.
About 15 minutes. Take Reems Creek and Ox Creek Roads up to Bull Gap, where you join the Parkway around Milepost 375. Head north and Bull Creek Valley Overlook (Milepost 373.8) is just a few minutes on. Head south for Tanbark Ridge Overlook (376.7) and Craven Gap (377.4). The Parkway closes in winter when there’s snow or ice, and sections close for repairs other times of year, so check the National Park Service road status page before you go.
About 35 minutes, mostly interstate.
Main Street is about 10 minutes from the farm, with galleries, small shops, and brunch at Lev & Lulu’s. Each fall, local artists open their studios for the Weaverville Art Safari, and in December the Candlelight Stroll fills Main Street.
We think so. Downtown is about 15 minutes away, close enough for dinner and a show, and you come home to a quiet farm and a dark sky. Hatley Pointe is 15 to 20 minutes north for skiing.
