Exciting news – did you know our very own Daniel is Swiss? We just celebrated his birthday this past week with a fun surprise party (see images below). Erica knows how to plan a party and she did manage to keep the secret even when the tent arrived! Family from Switzerland, friends from the states and Asheville Bed and Breakfast members all gathered to celebrate his 60th birthday along with the Carolina Bluegrass Style band, cigars from Casablanca Cigar Bar and catering by renown Chef Steven Goff, owner of Tastee Diner. Now, we’re diving into a month-long celebration of Swiss National Day which is officially August 1st. Get ready to see us rocking the red and white Swiss colors, sharing delicious Swiss recipes, and soaking up Swiss history and culture.
