Daniel and Erica

Hello everyone! It’s great to be here again. We want to give you a little update about what we’ve been up to since our soft opening in July and official ribbon-cutting in September of last year. Quite honestly, it’s been all we’ve hoped for – and more. Our guests are having the time of their lives – just check our Google Reviews – and we’re so grateful for them.

We’ve been sharing stories, laughter and good times and look forward to many more years ahead. We also plan to spend more time giving you – our valued guests, past, present and future – a steadier stream of information and updates about events and activities right here in this blog. And – we’ve got a lot to share on that front.

Our recent attendance at the Association of Lodging Professionals conference in Orlando inspired us in many ways and now we’re here to excite you too. So, keep reading to get fired up about what we’ve got in store.

New Collaborations

We’ve partnered up with some amazing local businesses to bring you the best curated experiences possible – from art tours and outdoor adventures to special skills workshops. We think you’ll enjoy learning about these wonderful places that are working to enrich the lives of all who visit. Here are just a few:

April is all about ART in Weaverville and Inn at Amaris Farms

While anytime in Asheville is art time, April has several special art events on the books. Chihuly is back at Biltmore and runs through January 2025.

We mentioned the Glass + 1 collaboration with Sherry Masters above.  Did you know Weaverville is an arts community?  The entire town devotes 3 festivals a year to art with the first one in April. The Weaverville Art Safari is set for the last weekend of the month. This self-guided, free event gives people the opportunity to visit working artists in their homes and studios. It’s a fun day out. Ask us to pack a picnic for you and your special someone and escape to a quiet spot in between stops.

On April 27, there’ll be Fire on the Mountain  in nearby Spruce Pine. It’s an all-day Blacksmith festival featuring vendors, live demonstrations, hands-on tent with rotating teachers, and visiting blacksmiths from around the region and country. And, if you’d like to try your hand at making some art of your own, The River Arts District, also known as RAD, is the place to be. From “Painting and Prosecco” to making alcohol inks, creating collages, and learning how to sketch, this amazing art mecca offers up many calendar choices.

Around Our Place, Your Home Away from Home

In addition to these new partnerships and happenings, we’ve also made even more improvements to our beautifully-renovated property. We’ve added a charming nature path through the woods where guests can take a leisurely morning, afternoon or evening stroll and there’s even a multi-hammock area for some serious lounging.

And with spring upon us, we’re getting excited about the upcoming growing season too. Our farm is taking root.  Eventually, we will be providing fresh produce for our farm-to-table breakfasts along with eggs from our chickens. It’s a joy for us to share the flavors of the seasons with our guests.

Speaking of seasons, we’ve got some ideas in the works for some seasonal signature events. From high teas and musical collaborations to cigar tasting and BBQ it’s too early to unveil them all right now, but let’s just say – we think they’re going to be pretty epic. Make sure to stay up-to-date with all the special events ahead. How? We’ve got a new Trip Planner which features monthly events as well as other area happenings.

Well, that’s all for now! We look forward to sharing our Inn with new guests and to welcoming returning guests. You are why we do what we do. We treasure our personal interactions with all of our guests and enjoy ensuring their stay is a memorable one.
