Hello Friends! We are entering our fall season, the best time of year to visit, and the most favorite by visitors. This also means experiences such as the Biltmore, the NC Arboretum and visitors on the Blue Ridge Parkway will increase. Be sure to book ahead and remember, you have MULTIPLE ways to save on Biltmore tickets:

Updated Biltmore Savings for 2025

Save $8 per ticket, no restrictions: Save up to $8 per ticket off gate price on Biltmore’s Enhanced Experience, including Audio Guide! If your stay in North Carolina includes a trip to the Biltmore (which it should!), purchase your tickets in advance at biltmore.com/partners using the promo code amarisfarms (case sensitive, no spaces).

Biltmore Christmas begins November 1 – January 4, 2026. Get Tickets.

NEW 2025 Savings: Visit midweek (Monday-Thursday) and save up to $75 per Adult Ticket vs. weekend pricing! Children ages 9 & under get in FREE with paying adults. Plus, when you buy any exhibition-inclusive ticket, you get FREE next-day grounds access (a $45+ value)!

Fall Color Timing 2025

Late September: Spotty color begins at 6,000+ feet in the highest mountains. Early October: Colors transform above 5,000 feet elevation.

Mid-October: Best colors at 3,000-4,000 feet elevation – prime Blue Ridge Parkway viewing. Late October: Perfect time for Asheville city, Biltmore Estate, and NC Arboretum colors

NC Arboretum 2025 Updates:

  • Special troll sculpture exhibit by Danish artist Thomas Dambo debuts November 15, 2025 – February 17, 2026
  • ArborEvenings continue through October 1st with live music from local artists
  • Parking is $16 for non-members, $8 on the first Tuesday of each month
  • Winter Lights display returns for the holiday season

Blue Ridge Parkway 2025:

  • Most Parkway miles are currently open for travel and recreation
  • Some construction projects are ongoing, but most areas are accessible
  • Multiple road improvements have been completed by the fall season

Art in Autumn in Weaverville: Mark your calendars for September 20, 2025 (3rd Saturday in September) for this beloved walking gallery hop with live music in quaint downtown Weaverville. This 18th annual festival features over 100 juried artists from across the Southeast, with prizes including $1,000 for Best of Show. Free admission and parking!

Other Weaverville Attractions:

  • Artisans on Main (14 N Main) – Four artist studios and a gallery featuring 30+ regional artists
  • Mangum Pottery (16 N Main) – Watch potters at work in their studio
